Sacrifice and Offerings

The concept of "drawing near" to God is central to the system of offerings in Scripture and our understanding of having a relationship with God. In Leviticus, the word for burnt offering (korban) and the word for offering both are related to the word for "draw near." Today, we don't bring animal sacrifices, but we're still called to draw near to God. Messianic pastor Chris Orr
