Shavuot is the third of God's annual appointed times. This day commemorates three significant events: the giving of the Ten Commandments at Mount Sinai, the wheat harvest in ancient Israel, and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2. The parallels between Mount Sinai and Pentecost reveal God's redemptive plan. We need to recognize the urgency of our times and to live in active covenant relationship with God, properly prepared for Messiah's return.
