Gentiles have always been part of God's redemptive plan, using the examples of Caleb and Othniel—both Kenizzites from Canaan who became integral leaders in Israel. These men maintained their ethnic distinctiveness while being fully aligned with the God of Israel and His people. This pattern shows us that faith in the God of Israel does not erase our backgrounds but transforms our allegiance. The implications for our spiritual life are profound: we do not need to become something "other" to be accepted by God. Jewish believers need not become Gentile, and Gentile believers need not become Jewish.
