Getting to Know God

God transitions Israel from narrative stories to practical instruction, giving them over 50 mishpatim (judgements) to shape them into a holy, priestly nation. These commandments reveal God's character and establish the relational foundation we need—both with Him and with one another. Far from being restrictive, these teachings show us how to see the world as God sees it, grounded in loving God and loving our neighbor. We also examined how covenant-breaking in Jeremiah 34 reveals heart issues, and how Yeshua's sacrifice redeems Israel from exile, making it possible for all of us to be grafted in through repentance and faith.
